Through gradual expansion, it transitioned into a larger operation, with the owner stepping back from logging to focus on renting out equipment and managing crews. In 2014, Top Notch seized an opportunity to bid on a significant project: clearing a sizable section of pipeline right-of-way for one of Ohio's leading energy companies. Their successful bid marked the beginning of a fruitful relationship, leading Top Notch to become a prime contractor for them and other notable companies and agencies. With each successive project, Top Notch invested in expanding its fleet of industry-specific equipment.

In recent years, Top Notch has further diversified its services,
branching out into private land and lot clearing, as well as construction site preparation. The overarching goal is to cultivate a diverse customer base, ranging from small private landowners to local custom home builders, and even international private utility companies. The aim is to establish reputable brand and company capable of
